We're getting married!

Brian and Becca ended up on the same adult kickball team, but they wouldn't talk to each other for a few seasons. Becca actually noticed Brian for the first time at her first game, but he didn't stay and hang out after, much to her disappointment. Unbeknownst to Becca, Brian had noticed her too. One night, Brian and Becca's team, Pitch Please was up 20-0 against another team. Brian was talking to another teammate and mentioned calling the mercy rule for the other team, to which Becca immediately stopped her conversation, turned around, got in Brain's face and said "Mercy is for the weak." Brian seemed surprised, but he stayed after kickball that day with the intention of getting to know Becca better. We went out to the bar after the game and talked all night. We discovered we had some niche interests in common and very similar senses of humor. Something clicked that night for both of us. We may have waited a few seasons to get to know each other, but we're happy that other team was so horrible at kickball that it gave Becca the perfect opening line.
