Devon & Brittany met one another at a "kickback" party. Brittany was there with her girls just chilling and having a good time. They all decided to play jenga and Brittany noticed that there were some people who were not paying attention to whose turn it was. Brittany thought this was a perfect time to go again...until Devon showed up. He yelled across the the table and said "Yo! She's buggin, she already went!" Brittany didn't care...she yells back, "Who's mans is this." They both laughed and then Brittany decided she wanted to check out a card game that was going on. Before the night was over, Devon went back to talk to Brittany. There was a lot of jokes and a little bit of banter that they both loved. They both realized how cool one another was and just talked here and there before the night was over. Just before the night was over Devon asked Brittany's number and the rest is history.

Devon & Brittany went on their annual February vacation that usually occurs around Valentines Day. This year we decided to go to Thailand but because of COVID-19 Devon changed the trip last minute to go to Cancun. He always plans the most romantic Valentines outings but of course this time was different. Devon rented a yacht that had a captain and what Brittany thought was another couple ended up being a videographer. Brittany had no clue as she sipped her tequila sunrise and focused on making sure her lashes didn't fly off. Little did she know Devon was ready to pop the question. Moments later Devon says he will be back, he is going to the bathroom. Of course Brittany's just like "Okay, babe!" When Brittany turns around there is literally no one on the top deck besides her. She thought to herself..."where is everybody." But, then Devon comes back and he decides to give me my valentines card. Of course Brittany leaves her valentines card in the hotel and responds "Can we do this later! I forgot mine!" Devon says, "Its ok, just open mine." Brittany can be stubborn so she says "No." However, Devon knew that already so he switched his tone. Brittany could tell he was getting antsy but she assumed it was because of the waves. As Brittany read the card aloud she stops in the middle and says "Baby, are you proposing to me?", with a joking tone. Devon doesn't say a word. Brittany then looks at the card and reads faster and faster just waiting for the words WILL YOU MARRY ME...of course they weren't there. But as soon as Devon dropped down to one knee...there it was...the moment Devon asked Brittany to marry him...and Brittany of course said yes.
