Worth the wait

A High Five and an Air Freshener. To most those aren't what comes to mind when you hear the word 'Romance'; to Doug, though? "Absolute Legend" must have been what was going through his head when he brought Amber a Kwik Trip air freshener to their first date (which ended, not with a first kiss, but him teaching her how to give a 'proper handshake'). Or, on their third date when she tried to slyly hold his hand while he was driving and was met with a bonafide full-on high five instead. "What! I thought that's what you wanted." No Doug, no girl in the history of ever, tried to hold a man's hand, and wanted a high five instead. Yet, somehow that 'Have an Elite Day' air freshener is still proudly hanging in her rearview mirror. And high fives? Are kind of just their thing now.
