After this year, anything is possible. We plan to have our event rain or shine, big or small, in the safest way possible. We plan to have fun too.
Once we get a majority of the RSVPs, we're hoping to clarify with guests who are attending if they are vaccinated and make some final decisions about how socially distant the event will be. Even if it is only safe to have a socially distant ceremony, sit on separate picnic blankets and enjoy some live music, concert style, we'd still love for you to come (with your mask on!) to celebrate with us. That being said, we ONLY want you to come if you feel safe doing so. We're optimistic about the trajectory of things but it's still too early to confirm what the event will look like. NO MATTER WHAT: it will be outdoors (either in a pavilion or on open grassy lawn), and there will be plenty of room for all of our guests to eat in a socially distant fashion. The word ‘Tisch’ literally means ‘table’, and the common theme of many a Tisch is that folks sit around a table. For us, this is an exciting and meaningful moment to be with our family and friends, laugh, celebrate and get grounded in our community before we meet at Chupa. We will attempt to share some words with you, and we welcome your active participation in this tradition. We will send an email with more information to those attending in the weeks beforehand.

At this stage, our Friday evening wedding is the only event, but we hope if it feels safe for you to come in from out of town, you will consider staying the weekend to hang out. We will update if we make additional plans.
