We met in June 2020, at the peak of the first lockdown during Covid. We met on Tinder. Luckily for the both of us, we wanted more than the typical hook up. A few days of witty banter and we decided it was time to meet in person. Our first time meeting face to face was on Kalama Street. What was meant to be a "quick" meeting ended up being a few hours of getting to know each other and realizing there was a strong connection between us. However due to our crazy schedules it would be a few more days until we had our first date. Our first date at Tommy Bahama would soon become a special date night location for us that holds great significance. Dating during the peak of the pandemic wasn't easy, especially with all the rules on quarantine and social isolation, but we made it work. From running his own business and growing in the ranks of well-known tech companies and her slowly climbing up the nurse management ladder we continue to support each other and grow together both professionally and personally.
