FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st.

Question

What is the closest airport to fly into?

Answer

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is under 45 minutes from our venue.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Texas is still typically quite warm in September. We will have plenty of shade and fans at the outdoor ceremony and reception. It tends to cool off a bit in the evenings (think ~70 degrees F).

Question

What is the venue like?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are both outdoors in the heart of Hill Country. The area is rural with a lot of trees and greenery. There is a designated parking area for guests, as well as a fire pit, a pond, and a semi-enclosed barn with a dance floor connecting to the outdoor space.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adults-only celebration.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Lighter weight fabrics recommended due to the heat. Jackets and ties are optional Dress shoes or nice boots Dresses - rustic garden party vibes, semi-formal. Our overall color scheme is based on wildflowers (blues, greens, pinks, orange and yellow), so feel free to match these if you'd like. If you'd like to wear heels, we recommend a more sturdy/chunky one as it is an outdoor venue.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We appreciate you traveling to be here for our special day. Making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, it is available here on our website under the Registry tab.

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, wineries, and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.
