We didn’t know it at the time, but we both moved to Lancaster on the same weekend mid-pandemic. With dating being more complicated during the pandemic, we ended up on the same dating app and after a couple weeks of Thomas initiating conversation and me taking a week to respond to each message, we went on a date. We shared stories of our lives and realized we had more in common than we ever expected — I was pretty adamant at the time that I was not interested in a serious dating relationship, and Thomas felt the same. So we continued to see each other casually. We went on lots of what we like to call “coffee walks”, and we people watched, and we talked, and we did laundry together because neither of us wanted to go to the Laundromat alone, and shortly we found ourselves falling in love. We have since adopted two cats, we have traveled, danced, cried, laughed and learned so much together, and we are so excited for you to join us in celebrating our commitment to many more years of all of those things.
