Ally
Bride
Ally was born and raised in Champaign, Illinois. She graduated from Parkland College (A.A.), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.S.), and the University of Iowa (M.A.). She currently works as a Grants & Fellowships Coordinator for the Illinois Global Institute at the University of Illinois. Ally is an optimistic encourager! She appreciates anything that has to do with communication, languages, and artistic expression. In her free time, Ally leads worship at Life Vineyard Church in Mahomet and is also a vocalist for the pop/rock cover band Kalesa. She also enjoys mentoring and connecting with children and teens, trying out new food spots, and experiencing the wonder of God's creation through nature. Some of her favorites things to do with Nate is create music together, adventure to small towns for the food, thrift stores, and culture, and have "show and chill" nights. She is so excited and grateful because God has richly blessed her to be on the path towards marrying her favorite person and biggest encourager! #PrayerWarriors #SpiritualSniperTeam
Nate
Groom
Nate is a natural born fire starter with a supernatural focus on God's presence in his life. After his 2003-2005 deployment to Iraq, Nate earned 2 degrees and an MBA from University of Illinois along with 10 years in entrepreneurship and previously 5 years consulting Chemicals and Natural Resources Industries at Accenture. He now independently consults agronomy and manufacturing small businesses in the Midwest with strategy, advisory, and management consulting. He passionately engages the needs of homeless, veterans, and youth with the love of Jesus Christ as a youth leader and street evangelist. Nate has played the violin since the age of 7 and now records and tours experimental worship in his harsh noise project, Spiritual Warfare. Nate adores Ally's curious and adventurous spirit that matches his own and he cherishes any moment they get to worship, practice Filipino knife fighting, watch Twin Peaks, or explore the charm of the small and simple places in the world together.
Jasmine
Flower Girl
Jasmine Precious is 5 years old. You can call her "Jasmine". She loves to sing and dance. Her favorite food is spaghetti and bread. She loves to play outside with her friends and with her cousin Yance. She also likes to paint and draw her mom and dad's face. And soon, she will be a big sister and she can't wait to play and take care of her little sister. Jasmine is Ally's first cousin once removed.
Zada
Flower Girl
Zada is 5 years old. She loves God, her family, and animals. Some of her favorite activities are playing in water, playing video games, Tae Kwon Do class, and playing with her friends. Her favorite places are nature, hotels, Disney World, and family reunions. She is very creative and loves to sing, draw, paint, and tell stories. She always looks forward to church, community day for school, and visiting family and friends. She wants to be a scientist or a detective when she grows up. Zada is Nate's niece.
Yance
Ring Bearer
Yance Daniel (you can call him “Yance” or “Yanceboy”) was born in the Philippines on September 20, 2020. This 3-year-old little boy loves musical instruments, especially drums. We are amazed that he knows the beat. He likes to recite the fruits and vegetables and wait for the water sprinkler at Schnucks almost every day. He knows the numbers, letters, colors, animals, fruits and vegetables, however you will hear him say “NO SCHOOL please Mommy” ☺️. Yance also loves to play outside or in the park and loves to find insects. Recently he is loving to go to the free play place in the mall and meeting new friends. Definitely Yance has also some tantrums like other kids but overall he is doing well. He hopes to meet you all on the Big Day (Ally and Nate’s wedding day) ☺️ Yance is Ally's first cousin once removed.
Kaia
Flower Girl
Kaia is almost 3 years old. She loves her family, and cats. She won’t go anywhere without “Gogum,” her lovie toy. Kaia is independent and likes to do things herself, like getting dressed and cracking eggs for breakfast. She especially loves anything to do with princesses. Moana and Elsa are her favorite princesses. Kaia also loves to be with family, play dress up, paint, ride her tricycle, sing, dance, and go to the park. Kaia is Nate's niece.
