FAQs

The Wedding Website of Emily Stoll and Bradley Vargo
Brad already popped the big question. Now we'll try to answer your questions here!
Question

My invitation said the ceremony location might change. What's going on?

Answer

All Saints Parish (our home parish) is scheduled to close as part of the Road to Renewal, but it's currently in the process of appealing to stay open. We fully expect it to be open for our wedding on Oct. 11, 2025 - but if the appeal is denied and the church closes on short notice, the wedding ceremony will be moved to St. John the Baptist Church at 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY 14094. St. John's is only one mile away from All Saints, so if we have a last-minute change in venue, we will be in touch in several ways depending on how we usually reach you. Text message, phone calls, a sign on the church door, carrier pigeon...

Question

Do I have to RSVP on the website?

Answer

Yes, you have to. We need an accurate headcount in one place to make sure we have seats and food for everyone. Spreading RSVPs over texts, calls, emails, social media DMs, in-person conversations, etc., leaves too much of a chance for someone to fall through the cracks. That being said, if you're having trouble RSVPing online, let us know.

Question

Do you have a room block?

Answer

Yes, we've arranged a room block at the Hampton Inn in Lockport, available on the nights of October 10 and 11. You can book just one night if desired. To book online, visit https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/buflphx-esw-60739811-e378-41d1-ab80-e70cb81e3702/ If you would prefer to book directly with the hotel, call the front desk at 716-625-6900 and tell the agent that you are booking for the Stoll-Vargo Wedding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately there is a limit to the number of guests we can invite, and we cannot accommodate anyone who is not listed on your invitation. If you feel we left out someone important, like a long-term partner, let us know so we can discuss!

Question

Can I bring my kids? What about my adult children?

Answer

This will be an adults-only event, with the exception of one flower girl. Due to the size of our families, we had to cut the guest list at the generation and could not invite our cousins' children, even those who are 18 or older.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We've created a registry on Amazon, which you can access either via the link at the top of this page or directly on Amazon's registries page.

Question

How long is the ceremony?

Answer

We're doing a full Catholic wedding Mass, which usually lasts about an hour or slightly longer. The Mass is the heart of our wedding day. It’s where we become husband and wife in the eyes of God. It would mean so much to us to have you there to witness that sacred moment and pray with us. We really hope you’ll join us for both the ceremony and the celebration afterward!

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is a parking lot across the street from All Saints Parish and plenty of room for street parking if the lot fills up. Anyone with a handicap tag for their vehicle can use the smaller parking lot next to the church, to the right side of the building - make sure to use the spots that are directly up against the building, as the neighboring lot does not belong to the church. There's plenty of parking for the reception too, since our venue is on the Niagara County Fairgrounds. If you're able, we ask that you leave the closest spots for guests who may have trouble walking longer distances. Thank you for helping us make things easier for everyone!

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during Mass so that everyone can be fully present during the most important part of the day, and so our professional photographer and videographer can capture everything without distractions. At the reception, we'd love for you to take photos! Just be mindful of our photographer and videographer please, and leave them enough space to do their jobs. We can’t wait to share all the beautiful photos with you afterward and see the fun pics you snap during party time!
