Chelsea & Alex

In February 2024, fate brought us together through Bumble. Alex was moving back to Greenville for work, & Chelsea—convinced she’d never marry again—decided to swipe one last time. That’s when she saw Alex’s profile. Her first message? “Well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.”

Great conversations followed, but meeting had to wait—Alex was working in California for the week. Chelsea didn’t expect to hear from him again, but to her surprise, a “Guess who’s back” message came through once he returned.

They made plans to meet at Starbucks on February 26th at 4:30PM. Nervous & excited, Chelsea arrived 30 minutes early, then went back home and returned at the right time. That first date turned into two hours of deep conversation about life, goals, & dreams.

A kiss in the parking lot led to a second date- a heated Mario Kart match. Chelsea swears she let him win at Mario Kart, but Alex is pretty sure it was a fair match—the perfect beginning to a lifetime of playful rivalry and partnership.
