Our story began the way many modern love stories do-with a swipe. In March of 2023, we both logged onto a dating app with no expectations beyond maybe a good conversation. But when our profiles matched, something felt different right away. What started as a few messages quickly turned into long conversations, endless laughs, and that exciting feeling of wanting to know more. Before long, we decided to meet in person at a "Copy and Paste" in Lexington, KY, a craft activity place Weston had picked to cater to Kassie's crafty site. Funny enough, there had been a large thunderstorm the night before and the store was closed without power. We quickly changed plans and went to a local bar called "Charlie Brown's." Any nerves disappeared almost instantly, and what was supposed to be a quick first date turned into hours of talking and a walk through a local park. It was clear that the connection we felt online was even stronger in real life. From there, our relationship grew through late night talks and adventures traveling to nearby towns together. We supported each other through life’s highs and lows, and somewhere along the way, we realized we had found our forever in one another. Who knew that a simple swipe would lead us here? We’re so grateful for the app that brought us together—and even more grateful for the love that followed. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with you.

Weston and Kassie took a trip to Europe in April of 2025. Their first stop was in London, England. On their first day in London, Weston surprised Kassie by proposing in front of the Tower Bridge. They then spent the next week and a half celebrating the engagement in London, Venice, Florence, Pisa, and Rome. They love to travel together :)
