Semi-Formal Attire We invite you to dress up for our celebration — think cocktail dresses, elegant jumpsuits, dressy skirts for the ladies, and polished slacks with suit jackets for the gentlemen. Our ceremony will be held in a church, so we kindly ask that you choose attire that is respectful and appropriate. The reception will take place indoors with some outdoor activities, and since Kentucky in early October can be unpredictable (ranging from sunny and 75 to cool and wet), we recommend being prepared for varying temperatures. Please avoid wearing jeans or white. However, this is your chance to showcase that special outfit that's been waiting for the perfect occasion!
We understand the desire to share our special day with everyone, but we're keeping our celebration to invitees only. Please refer to your invitation: if it includes "and guest," you're welcome to bring a plus one. Otherwise, attendance is limited to those specifically named on the invitation envelope and RSVP form. We appreciate your understanding as we focus on celebrating with our closest family and friends.
We love your little ones, and we’re excited to celebrate with a small group of children who are part of our immediate families and wedding party. Because of space and logistics, we’re only able to include those children specifically named on the invitation. If your envelope says “– Family,” or your children are listed by name that means your children are invited.
In lieu of a traditional guest book, we’re creating a recipe collection from the people we love most. If you’d like to participate, fill out the card with a favorite recipe and bring it to the wedding. It can be anything—your go‑to weeknight meal, a family staple, or a dessert you swear by.
The ceremony will start at 4:00 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to get seated
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
