Our celebration will take place indoors and outdoors in the evening. We invite guests to dress in dressy attire—long dresses for women and suits or sport coats for men are encouraged. Kindly avoid jeans, t-shirts, shorts, and short dresses.
To celebrate with our closest family and friends, we are keeping our guest list to 150. We kindly ask that only guests listed on the invitation attend. If your invitation includes “Your Name & Guest,” a seat has been reserved for your guest of choice.
To allow all guests a night to unwind and enjoy our open bar, our celebration will be adults-only (21+). We appreciate your understanding!
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same location, and there is a parking lot available for guests.
We have reserved a block of rooms under “The Schields Wedding” at the Holiday Inn off of I-10 in Columbus. How to book: Please call (979) 733-9300 and dial “0” to reach the front desk. Let them know you’d like to book a room under “The Schields Wedding” for October 24, 2026 to receive the discounted rate. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
