From the first brief random meets our fall semester our freshman year, our story has been one of God's timing and a roller coaster of events! We are so excited to continue our journey with you on this day! Emily's Perspective: I was going into Spring Semester my Freshman year not wanting to date, and within the first few weeks of the semester, I was playing indoor soccer and met this guy named Westin. Knowing him from there, he later invited me to a trial for his fish that he was putting on with his roommate. He got my number to text me updates about the time and if I would be on the jury. Getting some friends together, I went to the trial and I thought it was hilarious :) From there, I seemed to keep bumping into him at different events, and we had meaningful and faith based conversations and walks that peaked my interest... but I was living in denial. Eventually, after our friendship was growing, the semester ended we went on our first date right before he left for Basic Training. From daily letters and weekly calls, our friendship kept blooming and God led us to start dating a few months later when he was visiting during Thanksgiving!
