When COVID-19 really took off in the States, we did not think for a second that our wedding would be impacted. We were 3 weeks out from our big day when we realized the severity of the virus. It suddenly became apparent that traveling for this was a matter of literal life or death for some people. Postponing, though heartbreaking, was a no brainer. Waiting to be married was not an option for us so we decided to honor our original wedding date. While waiting those 21 days, which felt like 21 years, seriously March was the longest month of my life, our plans changed everyday. We went from having a gathering of 15 people to 5 people in a matter of days which meant that our parents and brothers would not be able to attended. Missing them was the hardest part, truly. We are so grateful to our parents and family for supporting our decision to limit the amount of people present for the ceremony. We are so grateful to Corbin and Sadler who threw our wedding day together in a matter of days and went out of their way to make it incredibly special. And we are so so blessed to have such a huge support system all over the country that tuned into our virtual wedding ceremony coordinated by Jeff’s mom, Karen. And lastly we are so incredibly gratefully and excited to get married all over again to celebrate with all of our friends and family. All of your love and prayers and positive thoughts have not gone unnoticed. Thank you to every single one of you who have kept us in your thoughts and prayers. Our marriage has been exactly as God had intended for marriage, full of love, honor, and support. Now rest up for Round 2, you’re going to need it. We’ll see y’all in September.
