We Still Do

Marcus and I met at a tennis tournament in Negril Jamacia during Easter Break on April 18, 2019. Marcus and I both made it to the finals and after we were done he asked me to go with him to Montego Bay! He took me on a couple of dates since I only had a couple of days left in Jamaica. When I had to leave to go back home Marcus dropped me off at the airport. It was a sad day we didn’t want to say goodbye. We kept in contact. He asked me to visit in June. When I came back in June he took me on a romantic river raft boat. We fell in love!

Marcus proposed to me on Christmas Day @ 10:30pm. That morning we went to Marcus’s work at Tryall Club, where he taught all day until 6pm. We decided to go to a family friend’s house for Christmas dinner but it was getting late, so we rushed home to get ready. We called to see if food was still out but someone said no. So Marcus took me to the town. As we were about to park the car I got a call asking us where we were because they had food waiting for us. So we left and went to the family friends house. After we ate, Marcus decided to play dominos. He kept knocking dominos off the table for me to pick up. When Marcus finally said last game, he again dropped dominoes off the table. When I turned around Marcus was down on one knee with the ring box out! He said, “From the first time I saw you I knew I wanted to marry you. I love you, will you marry me?!” And of course I SAID YES! We are got married in October, 2020. We are finally celebrating after 4 years and two kids. We're so excited to celebrate with you.
