Stroll down Bay street and see the Flying Horse Carousel, the oldest operating suspended- horse carousel in the U.S. Next door, stop by St. Clair’s Annex, home of the best ice cream in town. Fun fact: Taylor Swift’s summer beach house is located in Watch Hill! Watch Hill Lighthouse
Check out the Watch Hill Lighthouse and Museum for a beautiful view of the Atlantic.
East Beach
Beach Day at East Beach! Head to the beach right in downtown Watch Hill. There is no parking at East Beach, so you will need to park downtown (bring cash!).
Ocean House
The Ocean House has several restaurant options onsite that can be accessed by non-guests. If the weather is nice, try heading down to the beach for lunch or have a drink on the Verandah overlooking the ocean. Recommended for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks.
Olympia Tea Room
The Olympia Tea Room is a restaurant in Watch Hill that serves lunch and dinner. They have a simple bistro-style menu with great cocktails and a large wine list. Perfect for lunch, dinner or drinks!

Sandy's is located 10 minutes from Watch Hill and is a small gourmet food store. They have a great selection of speciality sandwiches that you can call and pick up, as well as prepared foods! We recommend picking up for lunch.
Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island
Brewery with indoor & outdoor seating options, about a 5-10 minute walk from Downtown Westerly. Grey Sail is located along the river & is a great spot to grab a wood fired pizza and try Westerly's local beer.

Enjoy dinner at this classic American spot in downtown Westerly (for those from NYC, it is the same owner as Goodnight Sonny and the Wayland). They also have a clam bar right next door.
River Bar
A new spot located in Downtown Westerly situated right on the Pawcatuck River. Highly recommend for a sit down meal, fun atmosphere, and amazing food.
Dave's Coffee
Located in Charlestown, RI (a town over from Westerly). A favorite stop for Elizabeth & Jason! Recommend ordering online before heading over as lines get long in the summer.

Downtown Mystic
For those who have more time in the area, explore the town of Mystic, CT (Elizabeth's hometown!), which is is about a 20 min drive from Westerly. Mystic is a charming seaside town with a rich maritime history, offering a blend of historical attractions and delicious restaurants. Check out Oyster Club, Red36, or Bravo Bravo.
