Marissa was selling her handmade Goodest Pup dog bandanas on a Friday night at a vendor market at Cole's new apartment complex. Cole wasn't originally planning to go, but thankfully his cousin, Josh and his wife-to-be Logan, invited him to join them. Cole left Marissa's tent with a new Baylor bandana and a newfound crush. For the next hour at the local sports bar, still within eyesight of the vendor market, Josh and Logan encouraged Cole to go back and introduce himself. With a gentle push, he made his way back to Marissa's tent at closing time under the guise of buying one more bandana. Cole asked for Marissa's number that Friday night (they both blacked out from nerves) and they had their first date that Sunday. The rest is history!
