We met at the University of Louisville (Go Cards!) in the marching band. We were both freshman and in the sousaphone section. We were friends for months and he finally asked me on a date to the zoo. After laughing over dippin dots and my ability to communicate with big cats, he asked me to be his girlfriend. This began our crazy adventure together.

We went on a trip to Utah to hunt for a new place to live and check out the area of our soon to be new home (thank you Air Force!). We decided to do some sight seeing and went to Antelope Island. We hiked up one of the scenic hills and were posing for some pictures when he dropped down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And the rest is history! We're so excited to start this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Etown!
