FAQs
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all your little ones, we are keeping our young guests at our ceremony and reception limited to our immediate family. We hope this is an opportunity for you to let your hair down and enjoy the party! All children are welcome at the welcome reception on Friday and farewell brunch on Sunday. If you need a babysitter for Saturday, we recommend checking out Joanna's Nannies (Wine Country location option), Nanny on Call or All About Kids Napa. To limit the amount of baby gear you need to travel with, there are several companies that allow you to rent essentials. Check out BabyQuip, Travelin' Tots Rentals, and Traveling Baby Company.

Question

Are you requiring COVID-19 vaccinations to attend?

Answer

As of now, yes, but this may change after the June 15th reopening in California. For now, every guest that is eligible for the vaccine is required to have received their series of the COVID vaccine. The venue may have a staff member at the entrance checking COVID vaccine cards. If you are not fully vaccinated or cannot provide proof of your complete vaccination you will be asked to leave. No exceptions. We hope this will change by June 15th when the state reopens and will keep you posted. People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series or 2 weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at the venue.

Question

What about Ubers in Sonoma?

Answer

Sonoma is a sleepy pocket of wine country so Ubers are a bit unreliable. You can expect to wait up to 20-30 minutes for an Uber to arrive. We recommend ordering an Uber well in advance or reaching out to Meridian Limo, Groundlink, Sonoma Taxi, or Sonoma Designated Driver to book transportation in advance.

Question

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

We recommend booking all lodging early. If you had already booked for our June or October date, we recommend trying to move your existing reservation. So far, most rental properties have been able to adjust the timing with no problems. Please see our Travel page for information on our hotel blocks and travel information.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Let one of us know and we will do our best to work with our caterer to accommodate your dietary restrictions.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Friday evening is casual! No ties needed; wear what you're comfortable in. The cocktails will be outside so we recommend bringing a jacket. Saturday is cocktail attire. The entire venue is outside and can get windy so ladies, bring a wrap! We will be on gravel for the ceremony and grass, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We strongly recommend flats, wedges or block heels.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a shuttle to and from El Pueblo Inn and El Dorado Hotel. Please see the Transportation page for more details. Ubers are also plentiful in wine country!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

At this time, unless your invitation is made out to your partner or "and guest" we ask that you do not bring a date. We are still battling COVID rules and regulations as well as venue capacity limits. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 4pm. Our ceremony will begin at 4:30pm sharp.
