We met in high school when Westan was the new kid at our small-town school, we’d never talked before the random day he came up to my locker and asked if I could give him a ride to lunch. Then he started “stealing” my truck keys just to get me to talk to him, and it worked. He rode to lunch with me everyday after that and on December 2nd, 2017 he asked me to be his girlfriend in the Walmart parking lot. Since then, we've grown up together through every stage of life - from high school football games and college classes to first jobs, buying our first home, and all the ups and downs life can bring. We’ve supported each other through every season, becoming not just partners but best friends. After seven and a half years together, Westan proposed on a Florida beach surrounded by red roses and glowing “Marry Me” lights. It was such a perfect, unforgettable day. From two teenagers figuring life out to building our life together, it’s been the best journey and we can’t wait to see what God has planned for our future.
