What is the dress code?
Answer
Dress code is semi-formal to dressy casual attire. No jeans please. All festivities will be indoors, but with the warmer weather in August we recommend sun dresses, blouses, dress slacks, button-up dress shirts, sport coats, suits with/without a tie, khakis, polos, etc.

How long will the ceremony last?
Answer
We are aiming for 45 minutes or less!

Will there be snacks at the reception?
Answer
Yes! We will have some light snacks at the reception before the meal will be served around 5:30-6:00.

Will there be alcohol available?
Answer
We have decided to not serve nor offer alcohol at the reception. Please refrain from bringing your own alcohol as it is prohibited per the venue's jurisdiction.

Is there a block of discounted rooms available at the reception hotel?
Answer
Yes, but there are a limited number of discounted rooms available. When you fill out your RSVP, make sure to answer Yes/No to the 2 questions regarding hotel rooms. We will attempt to have enough rooms in the block but cannot guarantee there will be enough for all guests coming from out of town. We recommend you book your hotel room as soon as you can!

There are no rooms left in the hotel block. Where else can I get a hotel room?

If there are no rooms left in the block and the reception hotel does not have any more rooms available, there is another Holiday Inn just down the street at the following address: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lenexa, 9620 Rosehill Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215. Phone number: (913) 492-4516.

Is it okay to take photos during the ceremony and reception? Can I post them to social media?
Answer
Taking photos is allowed as long as attendees are not in the way of the photographer/videographer. Please refrain from standing up, moving, or raising your camera above your head to take a picture during the ceremony. Photos can be posted to social media using the hashtag #

How do I get to the ceremony and reception location?
Answer
Guests are expected to arrange their own transportation to/from the church and reception venue. Please see the tabs "Itinerary" or "Hotel" for addresses and parking directions of both locations. The easiest route to take from the church to the reception venue is I-35. Parking is largely available and free for both locations!

Can I bring my children?
Answer
We have decided to invite children of family members only. Please check your RSVP for specific names of guests who are invited. We have a limited number of seats at the reception and we appreciate your understanding! Please email us if you have concerns about attending without newborn babies and we will work to accommodate you!
