We were set up as sort of a "blind date" for a sorority house dance by a sorority sister who had met Zach at a high school leadership camp several years prior. Neither one of us expected more than just a fun night with sorority and fraternity friends. However, the rest is pretty much history, because we've been together ever since!

It seemed like any other summer Saturday for us. Zach suggested we go get wine at our favorite winery, Aurora Colony Vineyards (hint the wedding venue). It seemed almost routine as we sat on the patio sipping on our favorite white wine just like we had done several times that summer. We decided to walk around the vineyard and check out the wedding venue area. After some casual conversation about what we wanted our future wedding to look like, Zach got down on a knee and asked me to be his wife. It was the most perfect proposal for us, and a day we will cherish forever!

After unfortunate delays in our wedding due to COVID restrictions, we eloped on April 22, 2021 in Las Vegas with our immediate family by our sides. We had a lovely 10-day honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta to celebrate being newlyweds. Although this is not what we had originally planned, we are so happy with our decision to not let COVID delay our marriage any further. We are SO excited to finally celebrate our marriage with you all at our June 2022 reception!
