FAQs

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love the little ones in our family, but kindly ask that our day be for the 16+ crowd only. We hope that this evening gives our closest loved ones an amazing night away to have a romantic evening together with us!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Due to the venue and timing of our wedding, we are encouraging a formal dress code with a color palette of blues and neutral tones. Please avoid wearing greens if possible! Dress up with us for a fine dining experience!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the intimate nature of our venue, the capacity of the space is very limited. We hope you understand and are just as excited as we are to host those who are most important to us at this gorgeous historic, and mysterious, estate.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you respond by June 30th. This will allow us to provide the final headcount to our vendors and make sure everyone's seat is secured!

Question

Where is everything happening?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the following dining reception will take place at the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to be at the venue absolutely no later than 5:30pm. This will allow you to enjoy our pre-ceremony cocktail welcoming event. Guests should be seated by 5:50pm and the ceremony will start promptly at 6pm.

Question

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

As you may know, the bride is an ambulatory wheelchair user. Accessibility is very important to us! However, due to the historic nature of the venue, there are a few stairs in different areas of the house. We have attempted to make sure that the areas we have selected for the event are accessible, however, please let us know if you are having issues day of! We have made sure to make our day of coordinator aware there may be accessibility concerns and we will help!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony is unplugged. We have hired a beautiful photographer so that we can all be in the moment during this special occasion. However, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like before and after! And feel free to share with us using the QR code we will have day of.
