We met on the dating app Hinge, Monica's profile picture stood out with her beautiful smile out in a local sunflower garden. We got to chatting and it wasn't long before we were having our first date together, at her local golf course. Monica showed what it means to have grown up in a golfing family to me, yet still taught me along the way. We then did long-distance for some time, Monica and I commuting back and forth first between the Villages-Orlando, then from Gainesville-Orlando, until finally we moved in Together in April, 2025. I proposed to Monica on January 1, 2026 at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, right after we had just celebrated NYE in Time's Square (both for our first time). I had hired a photographer to capture that moment, and had been able to at least partially surprise Monica with this (can you blame her, she's too clever for her own good).
