Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
The D.C. area is served by 3 airports: Dulles International Airport (IAD), Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). Dulles and Reagan are recommended for travel to the wedding at Holy Transfiguration in McLean, Virginia. Flights into Baltimore (BWI) are not recommended because of the city's location on the far eastern side of the D.C. area. Although the Dulles and Reagan airports are connected to the DC Metro subway network, there is unfortunately no convenient way to arrive at Holy Transfiguration without a car. However, car rentals can be done easily at either airport, and Uber/Lyft service is reliable and efficient throughout the D.C. area.

Conveniently located near Holy Transfiguration (7 minute drive) and just a short walk away from the Tysons Metro station and Tysons Corner Center mall (10 minute walk). A 10 minute walk in the other direction takes you to several restaurants, a Whole Foods, and - importantly - Jeni's Ice Cream.
