What is the dress code?

Our dress code is formal.

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors are classic white and woodland greens.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, we would be delighted for you to bring a guest. If a plus one was not indicated, we kindly ask that you attend solo (unless you’ve received special permission from the bride and groom). We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity and our desire for an intimate gathering, we’re only able to accommodate those formally invited.

What happens if I arrive late to the ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for the sacredness of the moment, guests who arrive late will be asked to wait outside the chapel and will not be permitted to enter once the ceremony has begun. Doors will close just before the groom takes his place. We kindly ask all guests to plan ahead and arrive by the scheduled arrival time of 3:30 pm. We also ask that you use the restroom beforehand, as no one will be admitted once the ceremony begins.

Can I take pictures and video during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests put away phones and cameras during the ceremony. It will be a phone-free moment so everyone can be fully present with us. We’ve hired professional photographers and videographers to beautifully capture everything, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you!

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our celebration will be limited to children in the wedding party and those age 13 and older who were specifically listed on your invitation.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We take dietary restrictions very seriously and will do our best to accommodate all needs. There will be a section on our RSVP page where you can let us know about any allergies or restrictions in advance. Our caterer will also be fully present on the day of the wedding to address any additional questions or concerns, so you can feel comfortable and well cared for as you celebrate with us.

Where should I park upon arrival?

Answer

Parking is available directly in front of the chapel at Firefly Lane. The lot is just steps from the venue and includes designated handicap-accessible spaces for guests who need them, making arrival and departure easy and comfortable for everyone.

Will Alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, alcohol will be served during the reception and cocktail hour for guests ages 21 and over. The bar will close one hour before the evening ends. We kindly ask all guests to drink responsibly and to make necessary arrangements to get home safely, such as designating a driver in advance. We want everyone to enjoy a joyful and safe celebration!

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

For those traveling from out of state and unfamiliar with Tennessee weather, October can be beautifully mild but also a bit unpredictable. Our chapel is open-air, so we kindly encourage guests to bring a light sweater or jacket in case the temperature cools. In the event of rain, our cocktail hour will be moved indoors to the reception hall.

Can I post on social media?

Answer

Yes! We’d love for you to share the joy—just not during the ceremony. The ceremony will be a phone-free space, so we kindly ask that no photos or videos be taken during that time. Once cocktail hour begins, feel free to take and share all the pictures and videos you’d like

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered through Amazon, Target, and Zola. You can find links to all of our registries under the “Registry” tab on our wedding website. If you plan to gift a larger item, we kindly ask that it be shipped to our home address or brought to the bridal shower, as we will not have the means to transport large gifts from the wedding.
