Question
What time should I arrive for the ceremony!
Answer
Our wedding is scheduled to begin at 4pm! Please allow enough time to get settled into the seats to be ready for our “I dos”!
Question
Will the ceremony be unplugged?
Answer
Yes! We ask that no cellphones or cameras be out during the ceremony. We understand everyone wants to capture the moment, however we did hire our amazing photographer who will be capturing the memory for all of us to share! Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures and share them!

Will the ceremony be held outside?
Answer
Yes, we have fallen in love with Jekyll Island and know for a fact there is not a better place to continue our love story than on the beach! Please be mindful of the area and nature, Jekyll goes above and beyond to maintain their beautiful beaches and property.

What should I wear?
Answer
The attire is semi formal, we ask that no jeans be worn! As far as heels and shoes, you will have to walk a little ways to the ceremony on relatively flat ground. It is right next to the beach so please feel free to enjoy the sand and water.

Will the reception be at the same location?
Answer
Our reception will be held on the same grounds as the ceremony. It will be held in their Grand Oaks ballroom, starting at 5pm where there will be a cocktail hour for guests to enjoy refreshments while we sneak away to take pictures.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to our limited guest list we are unable to extend a plus one to our guests. Jekyll Island Association only allows up to 60 chairs set out for the ceremony. Due to their regulations we have a set limit to those invited.

Will children be invited?
Answer
We know there are some who would love to bring their little ones. Due to our limited numbers we ask that you enjoy a child free night. We hope this advance notice means you are able to set up accommodations and still be able to share in our big day!

How to RSVP?
Answer
Please use the QR code on the details page of the invitation to RSVP accordingly. Please only RSVP for the names listed on the invitation, thank you!

What if I don’t RSVP by the date listed?
Answer
Though we hope all can attend, if you do not RSVP by the date listed on the invitation you will unfortunately not be able to attend. Please note many guests coming will need enough time to set up accommodations as well as travel arrangements if attending.

Where can I stay on the Island?
Answer
There are many places to stay on the Island to make travel to the wedding as easy as possible! Please visit our travel page for a list of a few choices!

Can I stay on the grounds of the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! Villas By The Sea has extended a discount code for guests attending our wedding. Please use the code listed on the detail card if you are choosing to stay on the grounds.

Can I park at the venue?
Answer
There will be plenty of parking for both the ceremony and the reception!
Question
Will there be a bar?
Answer
We will have a bar tender for the reception. The bar will be a full service - cash bar.
