Celebrating our commitment of love!

The universe had plans for these two that spanned hundreds of miles. Ally Dobbins was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1989 to parents Janet Butler and Richard Dobbins. Wes Lyon was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1983 to the parents of Peter and Karen Lyon. Both lived a life full of excitement and adventure before they happened to meet in Tennessee at the Memphis in May festival on the Mississippi River. In May 2014, Ally would stumble upon the booth where Wes was working at her annual hometown fest. Wes was working at a jewelry booth, helping his dear friends; Ally came to explore (we call booths of beautiful, worldly & exotic jewelry an "Ally Trap)." She just so happened to come across THE booth where Wes was working. There was an instant connection and they both left with that booth with more than than they intended. Having never felt anything like this, Ally asked if Wes would take a break and go see the St. Paul and Broken Bones concert with her. We would visit each other off and on through the years, learning valuable lessons along the way that would later behoove the both of us. Five and a half years after meeting, we began Our Story, and are now seeing how the time before we were together has strengthened us in so many ways. We are proud to have been given the opportunity to find each other and join together when we did!
