Growing up in the same church & pews away from one another, but practically strangers, destiny would have these two hearts join only when the timing was right in God’s divine plan. For years Willie and Erica, or Noel as most know her, would simply pass each other in church with only a “Hey, how are you!” Until one Sunday, Willie became ill and as a nurse, Erica came to his aide. Willie always says, when he opened his eyes, he believed he saw an angel and instantly felt better. Weeks passed by and after church one Easter Sunday, Erica would learn of a “secret admirer” through her cousin. Completely shocked that this was possible in her church whose members are mostly family, there was one handsome young man, 4 pews from the back admiring her all along. Little did he know at the time, she was admiring him too. After a few phone calls, Willie standing her up for their very first date (yes, he did), and him winning her heart with his genuine & caring love, they are ready to Say I Do and begin their lives together as one.

After a weekend getaway to Jacksonville, Florida, Willie and Erica returned home for what she thought would be a simple family gathering at her parent’s house after her aunt’s passing. She should have known something was up Willie’s sleeve when she saw his mom’s car in the yard. After greeting her family and filling them in on their trip, Erica turned around to a tap on her shoulder and Willie on one knee...and now here they are to profess, “WE” Say I Do!
