Libby's older sister was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 13, and the family experienced first hand how overwhelming the diagnosis is. The Type I Diabetes Hope Fund was created by a local Charlotte family to lessen the financial burden associated with diabetic care for patients at Levine Children's Hospital. This cause is extremely dear to us, so we appreciate any donations in lieu of a registry gift.
