If you're flying in, choose Richmond International Airport (RIC) as your destination. No need to rent a car unless you plan to drive outside of Richmond. Our home is 5-10 mins drive from the city and it is all very easy to Uber and Lyft around (or even rent a scooter if that's your thing).
We recommend AirBnb for places to stay, but there are plenty of great hotels around too. We've listed some of the most "Richmondy" hotels below if you want a special experience.
