Jessica and Wes first knew of each other through their time in pharmacy school. Their first introductions to one another were made in the nightlife of downtown Memphis, at which time Wes was celebrating his birthday at Jerry Lee Lewis Cafe. Jessica had noticed Wes through school and social events and thought he was unbelievably handsome. She approached him on the dance floor with high hopes, regardless of the fact that he was already dancing with another woman. As luck would have it, Wes agreed to a dance with Jessica and even exchanged phone numbers with her by the end of the night. It was the following week that they went on their first date at Local. The two talked and laughed for hours without even a glance of distraction to their phones. After the first date, the two continued to see each other more frequently with every passing month. Years passed and Wes graduated from pharmacy school and moved to Savannah, GA for residency training while Jessica remained in Memphis. Despite the distance between them, their relationship still grew stronger. After two and a half happy years together, Wes made the decision to secretly fly back to Memphis and surprised Jessica at the Peabody Hotel Bar with a ring and the proposal of marriage. Of course she said Yes! Wes then surprised Jessica further by then taking her to a party where all of their loved ones were waiting to celebrate with them the promise of an exciting and wonderful life together.
