FAQs

The Wedding Website of Shelby Martin and Cade Werwinski
Please keep an eye on this page for more information as we get closer to our big day!
Question

Where are the events taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will take place at the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union. Please note that the ceremony will be outdoors.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking at Memorial Union. All hotels listed on our "travel" page are within walking distance to the venue! If you are staying elsewhere, Uber and Lyft are highly recommended due to limited parking in the area. If you choose to drive, the closest public parking garage is located at 430 N Frances St. Madison WI.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30. Please arrive before 3:30 to allow for time to get settled on Trip Deck for the ceremony!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Please join us in your best cocktail (semi-formal) attire. Please no jeans/denim, t-shirts, or shorts.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotel blocks have been reserved for our guests at 3 hotel locations around the downtown area. Please see our "travel" page for more information!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest's name is listed on your invitation or under your name when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with our close friends and family. Thank you for your understanding, please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You're ahead of the game! The RSVP deadline will be included in your invitation!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We can't wait to celebrate with you and your little ones! All children in your family will be listed under your name when you RSVP. Please RSVP accordingly!

Question

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be an unplugged occasion. We kindly ask that you be present with us. We have professional photographers on hand to capture all the special moments and are excited to share the photos with you!
