FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jackson Wert and Hannah Mundt
We are so thankful to be able to celebrate with you! We understand that being present on our day requires a lot of planning and coordination on your side. To help, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions below.
Question

Q: What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

A: Our celebration will be semi-formal. Think dressy but comfortable for dancing! If you’re unsure, a dress or nice slacks and a button-up shirt are perfect.

Question

Q: Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

A: Our ceremony will primarily be a worship service, focused on praising and thanking God, so we’re kindly asking for phones and cameras to be kept out of sight. Afterward, you can certainly snap away at the reception! Ultimately, we have a very talented photography team, and we trust that they will do a beautiful job of capturing the day.

Question

Q: Can I bring a guest?

Answer

A: We kindly ask that you only bring the guest(s) listed on your invitation and in the website RSVP allotment for you. Thank you for understanding—we’d love to celebrate with everyone, but space is limited.

Question

Q: Are kids invited?

Answer

A: We adore your little ones, and want our wedding to be a family celebration! However, while we would love to invite all children, space is limited. Please see your invitation and RSVP allotment on our website to see the invited children included under your name.

Question

Q: Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

A: The ceremony will be held at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Downtown Fort Wayne on Barr Street. The reception will be held at The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar in the northern part of Fort Wayne. You can find directions and details on our "Schedule" page.

Question

Q: What time should I arrive?

Answer

A: Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony begins. This ensures you’re settled and ready.

Question

Q: What time does the reception end?

Answer

A: The party at the reception venue will wrap up around 10:30pm, due to a Fort Wayne city noise ordinance. However, Fort Wayne has a variety of wonderful restaurants, bars, and activities for anyone who wants to keep celebrating!

Question

Q: Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

A: Yes! Complimentary parking is available on-site both at the church and at the reception venue.

Question

Q: Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

A: While we have not reserved hotel blocks, we have a list of suggested hotel options, both near the ceremony location and near the reception. Check our “Travel & Stay” page for details.

Question

Q: I’m coming from out of town, what’s the closest airport?

Answer

A: Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA), on the southwest side of Fort Wayne, is about 20 minutes from the ceremony in downtown Fort Wayne.

Question

Q: What will the weather be like?

Answer

A: Our wedding is in July, and typical weather is very warm in Fort Wayne. We suggest you choose a cool outfit option, for your comfort. However, both the ceremony and reception will be indoors with quality air conditioning, and you could certainly bring a light jacket or sweater if you anticipate getting chilly in the air conditioning.

Question

Q: Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

A: Absolutely! A full dinner and drinks will be served at the reception. There will also be children's menu food available. Additionally, we will have a cocktail hour with an open bar and appetizers. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Q: What food will be served?

Answer

A: In addition to a variety of appetizers, dinner will include choices of brisket, roast chicken, cheesy potatoes, vegetables, salad, and garlic bread, served by "Shigs 'n Pit" catering in Fort Wayne. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Q: Is there a registry?

Answer

A: Yes! Please see our Registry page on the website. We are registered with Amazon, but also have a "Honeymoon Fund" and "Furniture Fund" posted here on the website. Above all, your presence truly means the world to us.

Question

Q: Can I give cash or gift cards instead of a registry gift?

Answer

A: Of course! Your love and support mean the most to us, and we’re grateful for any contribution to our new life together. There will be a card box available at the reception venue.
