From Luke Abby and I met on the front porch of Chi Omega at Oklahoma State on September 10, 2014. I can still remember how beautiful she looked in the black dress she was wearing to our first Freshman Representative Council meeting when my fraternity brothers picked them up. She was WAY out of my league, so we didn't interact much. It took me a couple of years of college education to work up the courage and intelligence to ask her out, but Junior year over Christmas break we started talking and little did I know how my life would be changed forever!

From Abby Luke had been acting really suspicious for weeks, but I still wasn't sure when or how he planned on popping the question. On Wednesday, April 11th, Luke and I were taking our OSU senior graduation pictures on library lawn and at Theta pond. Luke insisted that we take a few pictures at Chi Omega and Farmhouse, so we starting walking that way to finish up. The entire way from library lawn to Chi Omega, I continually stopped for more pictures, which I realized later was making Luke's proposal timeline move all over the place. Once at ChiO, I messed Luke’s timeline up even more by taking some individual pictures in my ChiO graduation stole. Finally, I was ready for what Luke had been anxiously waiting to do. We stood in front of the steps of Chi Omega to throw our grad caps in the air for a "cute pic." Worried I would mess the picture up, I insisted on a practice round. Afterward, we faced the camera again for the real deal. As I threw my cap in the air, Luke tossed his to the side, I turned confused, only to see the love of my life down on one knee. Lots of sweet words followed by my excited "yes!" later, I had a ring on my hand and my best friend as my fiancé!
