How We Met

The first time we met was at one of Eric's friends house. It was actually Eric's birthday, they were having a bon fire and he showed up later. I tagged along (third wheel) with one of my friends. Eric & I met each other since we didn't know one another and that was about it. I didn't really think much of it at that point. We had a fun night & all went our separate ways.... Later Eric had asked Lindsey about me and wanted to know some "details".... on who I was. So of course she told me! We ended up at another get together with the same group of friends and Eric & I sat in a car that night talking & getting to know each other. The next day he messaged me and we started talking, hanging out and here we are.

The Proposal

6.30.19

Fast Forward almost 3 years... Eric & I have been together and enjoying life. I always worried Eric was serious when he said "I'm never getting married". But I hoped, if I was right for him everything would work out.... All while he kept saying he was never getting married, he was planning to propose to me where we had our first weekend away together at Boyne Thunder. Plans got ruined that week with our usual group of friends not staying over & other plans happening. He ended up proposing the weekend before, in Boyne City right by the water. It was perfect that we were able to enjoy this special spot together & have this moment, that I had been waiting for. It also turned out to be on my parents wedding anniversary.

COVID-19

We did not plan for this...

Well like many of you we did not plan for this or could predict something like this happening. Right now we are doing our best to stay positive and know that god has a plan that we can not see. Our plans have changed slightly and we have held off on sending out invitations not knowing what the next month or June could bring. We are sending out family invitations right now and are waiting til we know what happens after the stay at home order is lifted. We don't know if we will be able to have 20 people to 200 right now. We both have large families so just our families alone is a big number. In case you were wondering where your invitation is or if we are still planning on have the wedding. We will be getting married on our date, it just might not be the vision we originally planned for or the party! We will keep you updated! :D Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers through this difficult time.

For all the days along the way
