Question

Wedding Day Details: Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so our photographer can capture the moment. Feel free to snap and share during the reception!

Question

Wedding Day Details: How early can I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please note that doors will open at 6pm, however entry beforehand will not be permitted. And, our ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm. There is a little bit of a walk from the parking/drop-off area, so please account for some extra time.

Question

General Info: What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional, but we invite you to treat this as your Met Gala moment—a chance to dress to impress in your most striking and sophisticated attire. Whether it’s a daring, fashion-forward gown, a bold patterned suit, or a sleek, timeless ensemble, we encourage you to embrace this opportunity to celebrate in style. While tuxedos and floor-length gowns are not required, we ask that you embrace formal attire and avoid casual clothing such as jeans or t-shirts. Feel confident, glamorous, and ready to shine—step into the spotlight and make your red carpet debut. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

General Info: Can we bring our kiddos?

Answer

We absolutely adore your kids, but we think you deserve a night out to celebrate! Our wedding will be an adults-only event.

Question

General Info: Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to very limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. While we would love to include everyone, our space and seating are reserved exclusively for those invited. If you have any questions about your RSVP, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Question

General Info: What will the weather be like?

Answer

Seattle weather can be unpredictable, especially in February, so we recommend checking the forecast closer to the date. While most of the event will be indoors or covered, there may be moments outside. We’ll have umbrellas on hand in case of rain to keep you comfortable.

Question

Answer

We will not be providing transportation. However, Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available in the Seattle area, making it easy to get to and from all wedding events.

Question

Travel & Accommodations: When should I plan to arrive in Seattle?

Answer

We recommend arriving Thursday or Friday by midday, especially if you plan to join us for the Welcome Reception on Friday, February 21. This will give you time to settle in and explore the city before the festivities begin!

Question

Travel & Accommodations: How do I get from the airport to downtown Seattle?

Answer

There are several options to get from SEA to downtown: 1. Ride Shares: Uber and Lyft are readily available at the airport. 2. Taxis: Follow the signs to the taxi stand near baggage claim. 3. Light Rail: The Link Light Rail runs directly from the airport to downtown Seattle, with a trip time of about 35 minutes. 4. Rental Cars: Available at the airport if you prefer to drive.

Question

Travel & Accommodations: What airport should I fly into?

Question

Welcome Reception: What should I wear to the Welcome Reception at The Nest?

Answer

The dress code for the Welcome Reception is cocktail attire. The restaurant is a rooftop venue, tented and heated for your comfort. If you'd like, feel free to have fun with the theme! You can draw inspiration from: - Feathers (channel the elegance of birds and their graceful plumage) - Sequins (capture the sparkle of city lights, rooftop stars, and twinkling skies) - Floral prints or garden-inspired patterns (celebrate the beauty of a lush rooftop oasis) While this is optional, we encourage you to express your creativity and have fun dressing for the occasion! Coat check at The Nest is TBD—stay tuned for updates.

Question

Welcome Reception: Is there parking at the Nest?

Answer

The Nest offers valet parking on a first-come, first-served basis for an additional fee. While valet is available, we recommend using Uber, Lyft, or taxis for convenience, as parking in the area is limited.

Question

Welcome Reception: Will food be provided at the Welcome Reception?

Answer

The Welcome Reception will feature a selection of delicious appetizers and small bites, perfect for mingling and enjoying the evening. However, we recommend enjoying dinner beforehand, as we will not be providing a full meal. Drinks will also be available to toast the start of the celebration!
