A Rolla staple. Share some pizzas with friends and family! The cheeseballs are our favorite.
Di Trapani's On The Square
Wonderful Italian food. If you haven't tried St. Louis style toasted raviolis yet, now's the time! If you go on a Wednesday or Sunday, get their special-- cashew chicken (also a Missouri specialty).
St. James Winery
Award-winning wines. Famous for their sweet red, "Red Velvet." Go for a tasting, then head over to Public House St. James for food! Once Chloe and Matt went here for a wine tasting date. When asked what kind of wine he enjoys, Matt replied "Arbor Mist." Chloe was mortified.
Public House Brewing Company: St. James
The St. James location of where Matt and Chloe had their first date. It is bigger with beautiful outdoor gardens where you can wine and dine. It is located next to St. James Winery. St. James is less than a 10 minute drive from Rolla.

Lake of the Ozarks
If you have time, you have to visit the world-famous Lake of the Ozarks! When Matt moved to Missouri he fell in love with the lake before he fell in love with Chloe. Swim-up bars, boats, burgers, & bands... what more could you ask for? It is located about 1.5 hours away from Rolla.
Float Trip on a Missouri River
Missouri is famous for float trips, so if you have a chance, you should definitely go! Contact the Myers family for canoe/ kayak/ raft rental recommendations. Most floats are within an hour of Rolla.
Maramec Springs Park
One of the most beautiful spots in Missouri. The spring is absolutely gorgeous. Matt, Chloe, and Zuzu went on a date there and Matt got "bitten" by a trout. Great for a picnic, fishing, or just to walk around for an hour or two! About a 20 minute drive from Rolla.
Onondaga Cave State Park
The most beautiful cave (in our opinion) in the "cave state!" There are hikes, floating, and paid tours on the property. We recommend stopping by the Cuba Bakery on the way to get sandwiches and cookies to bring for a picnic at the park. About 45 minutes away from Rolla.

Wonders Of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium
Created by Bass Pro Shops and voted the best aquarium by USA Today. This was Matt and Chloe's first trip together! It is a can't miss experience, especially if you fly into Springfield. There are animals from almost every ecosystem on earth-- penguins, sharks, alligators, and more. You can even pet stingrays! Located about 1.5 hours from Rolla.
Kokomo Joe's Family Fun Center
Mini golf, go-karts, a driving range, batting cages, and arcade games! Fun for the whole family.

Roller skating, laser tag, arcade games-- and more! Loads of fun and family-friendly!
Hermann- Missouri's Wine Country
Missouri's "wine country" and cute little German town. Matt and Chloe celebrated their first anniversary here! Great German food, wineries, and B&Bs. About 1 hour and 15 minutes from Rolla on the Missouri River. Great overnight trip for couples!
