Is there a dress code?

Garden Attire is welcome for our church ceremony and brunch reception: sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues. Dress to eat and impress!

How do I get to the reception venue?

Answer

1. On GoogleMaps, search for "Lake Barrington Shores Main Entrance - Guard Shack" or 24268 Illinois Rte 59, Lake Barrington, IL 60010. 2. Upon arrival at the Guard Shack, let the security guard know that you are attending the Wen-Mariano wedding reception. *There is a STRICTLY ENFORCED 20 mph speed limit. Tickets/fines will be issued if caught going over the written speed limit within the Lake Barrington Shores community.* 3. Once past the security gate, turn left onto Old Barn Rd and follow the road until you see signs for The Lodge/Recreation Center (64 Old Barn Rd). 4. Guests can park in the south lots close to the tennis and pickle ball courts. Overflow parking is available at the Marina (a 3-5 min walk from the venue). Please enter through the porte-cochère (the side entrance is for residents only).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at both the ceremony site (The Orchard Barrington) and the reception venue (Lake Barrington Shores Recreation Center).

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Although a majority of our guests will be bringing cars, please let us know if you require transportation to and from the hotel/ceremony site/reception. We will be coordinating transportation via Lyft. Please let us know on your RSVP if you'll be requiring these services!
