These are my adorable godsons, and each one so precious to me. Jadon, Myles and Isaiah Hurd are gifts from God! When I felt as if I had lost almost everything in my life, God gave me these three and their dear parents as friends, who quickly became family to me. These boys are fun!!! Whether it be playing tag, running through the house or quiet conversations…they are wonderful!! Such loving and kind hearts. Always bringing joy! Always eager to tell me or show me the latest creations they have made. I love them and I’m so proud of each of them, and the young men they are becoming. The handsomeness you see on the outside runs deep within each of them. Rick and I couldn’t be happier…that they are in our lives, and we honored that they will be carrying our rings at our ceremony. ~Wendy~

Ahzijoon, how I love her! My free-spirited, happy, loving, funny little gem of a friend! She is sunshine! She is happiness! I met Ahzi when she was 2.5. Cutest little thing! Her mama needed help as she was so sick with stage 4 cancer. It was my joy and pleasure along side friends to help care for her. Through the years she has become dearer and dearer to me, and Rick too! She brings so many smiles to our faces, can’t imagine our lives without this precious girl! She will wear a dress adorned with wildflowers…symbolizing beauty, life, and miracles that spring from wilderness places. Such an honor to have her be our flower girl! ~wendy~

God has been so good to me by placing beautiful women in my life, when it was the right time. Whether it was at the very start of my life, growing up or when I was in my own wilderness…God has always known who I needed in my life, and love each of them! Rick’s sons have been kind and welcoming to me. I look forward to the days and years ahead that will allow us to get to know each other even more. I see the deep love that Rick has for his sons and feel blessed to join him in supporting, encouraging, and loving them. Rick’s extended family are dear and have shown immense love and support for us. I am grateful for all of them and have already started loving them as my own. I also want to honor Rick’s late wife Alisa, and the woman she was. I remember her on our wedding day, as I believe Rick is the wonderful man he is because of their life together. In honor of her life, and the gift she has given me in Rick. We will be welcoming donations to Vision House. A place that was dear to Alisa in helping homeless children and their families. ❤️

We want to recognize our respected families and honor them and what they bring to our lives. Both Wendy's immediate and extended family are very warm and welcoming. I am blessed to call them my friends and family. It has been a privilege to spend time with the Wendy’s sister and her family over the past three years. Whether it be holidays or birthday celebrations, we always seem to have a fun time. I can see why Wendy loves her family so much! I look forward many more special times and traveling to visit her family on the East Coast in the future. ~Rick~

These, my Wildflower 🌸 friends, have been there from the moment there was even a whisper in the air about Rick Landreth. They were waiting on pins and needles for when I would get the first call from him! They couldn’t wait!!!! Then it happened and they wanted to know every detail and were so excited with EVERY development in my relationship with Rick! 😄 It has been so fun to have these girls supporting me, celebrating in our love, and praying faithfully for Rick and I, throughout these 3 years of dating.
