Let's celebrate together!

We met at Seacrets, a beach bar in Ocean City, MD, the day after a rainy Fourth of July. Wendy had just started her first position as an RN at PRMC in Salisbury, MD, and Nick was visiting Ocean City with some friends for the weekend. Nick talked to a guy about the guy's cool shirt... Wendy was too short to be seen by the bartender and a guy helped her order her drinks at the bar... Turns out the guy who Nick talked to was the same guy who helped Wendy with her drinks, and was also the same guy who introduced us to each other because we were both from NY. It was a hit right off the start. We spent hours talking, and even started long distance dating, driving 6+ hours to be with each other. Once Wendy began travel nursing, the distance became shorter and shorter until she finally moved in together with Nick (with Gregory "Downtown" Brown) in Chapel Hill. We eventually got our first dog, Miso the Shiba Inu, together. 6 years later to the day they met, Nick proposed with the assistance of Miso and her ball fetching skills. Early 2021, we moved into our own place together and are now ready to celebrate the next steps in our lives with our closest friends and family!
