As you well know, we called off our original wedding date and got married in a tiny backyard ceremony last November. While that was fun and we're glad we did, we were missing a lot of very important people and weren't done celebrating! As for 2021, we think things are looking good for Golden, CO on August 7th and this thing is ON! Please RSVP as soon as you've figured out your side, and keep us posted on your plans! Can't wait to see- and hopefully squeeze- as many of you as possible!

We met just before Christmas in December 2016 via "Coffee Meets Bagel", an online dating app that no one has really heard about before or since. We chatted over the holidays while visiting our families, then met in Houston soon after our return for a beer (or two) and a game of foosball. It was all a little too easy and fun, and we've been together ever since.

Wendy had a suspicion (and a hope) that Mike might propose to her on their backpacking trip through Glacier National Park, but nothing happened at the campfire after a long first-day trek to their backcountry campsite. Then, soaking their feet in a private alpine lake the next morning, Mike pulled out the ring and asked Wendy if she would... to which Wendy said "absolutely YES!"... and then returned the ring to Mike for safekeeping until they were back down the mountain.
