FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we have listed here, please reach out to Wendy at 862-754-2886
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at anytime.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by August 15th!

Question

Why if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you don't RSVP by August 15th, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you)

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Wendy as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you or they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We encourage all guests to wear formal attire (excluding mens white dress shirt). Formal dress code for women includes floor length gowns, tea-length, and midi dresses. For men this includes suits and tuxes (please no jeans, sneakers, and of course no wearing white). Please reserve hues of blue for the wedding party.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: Whites, Ivories, and Creams.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

A time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invite and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier and it will give you time to park, sign the guest book, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until the reception hour to enter!

Question

What if I am running late?

Answer

Our wedding will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Unfortunately, if you are not seated by then, you will miss the ceremony.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged" ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors and reception will be in an indoor area located near where the ceremony took place.

Question

How can I contribute to your honeymoon fund?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon, we have a registry tab on our website and a card can be dropped in the card box at the reception.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a bar! We ask that you be patient and respect our bartender!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Our venue is located in Montclair, NJ. We have decided not to do a hotel block to give our guest the freedom to stay at a place that is most comfortable for them! However, we included some hotel options in the "travel" tab.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our venue has limited parking available, so if you’re planning to drive, please arrive early to grab a spot. That said, we highly recommend using Uber or Lyft, especially if you plan to enjoy a drink (or two!) and celebrate with us worry-free. Let's keep it safe and fun!
