Chicago has 2 main airports - O'hare and Midway. The Sheraton Suites Chicago O'hare is near the O'hare Airport, as the name denotes. Question

Will we be outdoors? Should I bring a jacket?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will both be indoors. It will be fall in Chicago, which calls for cool, crisp weather and, at times, rain and high wind. A coat check will be readily available for coats, umbrellas, goulashes and any other outerwear you would like to keep safe.

Question

Do I have to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

To keep the bride, groom and all of our loved ones safe, we insist that all of our guests be fully vaccinated. We strongly request that those traveling via airplane consider scheduling a PCR test upon landing. Links to local Walgreens and CVS that provide free COVID-19 PCR tests are provided and/or can be scheduled for you, if you would like. We may also request that you take a rapid COVID-19 test prior to entering the reception venue. If this comes to fruition, we will provide the rapid tests for all of our guests. Masks are highly encouraged and will be readily available during the ceremony and there is plenty of room to maintain social distancing at the church.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have not created a registry for our wedding. Instead, if you would like to give a gift, we would greatly appreciate a monetary contribution to our new home fund, as we are saving up to purchase a house.

Question

What happens after the ceremony? Will there be a reception?

Answer

After the ceremony at St. Mary of the Angels, the bridal party will be taking pictures at the church for, at max, 30 minutes and then proceeding to other locations to continue pictures. After photos, guests can head to the reception venue, Moonlight Studios, starting at 3:30p for scheduled entertainment, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Formal dinner will be served at 6pm followed by festivities and dancing.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You bet your bottom, there will be!!!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media? Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

YES! Please use our wedding hashtag #ForRichardsForPoorer to ensure we can see all of your photos from the wedding. We ask that, during the ceremony, you are mindful of keeping the aisle clear of cell phones and out of sight line to avoid blocking any important shots the photographers are trying to get.
