Do I need to rsvp again? By when?

Answer

Yes, please RSVP to each event through this website. Your earlier RSVPS have been recorded, but this make the planning process smoother. Please RSVP by February 15, 2025 (changed from March 15).

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony/airport?

Answer

The short answer is no. St Louis is the closest airport nearly 1 hour 50 min away from Neoga, 1 hour 30 min away from Effingham, and 2 hours 10 min away from Mattoon. We recommended arriving as a group or letting us know when you arrive so we can pair you with a group to either rent a car for your trip or arrange pickup through your hotel or us. We will do our best to get everyone where they need to be, but recommend renting your own transportation for the best experience during your trip.

Yes, please let us know ahead of time and allergies or restrictions you may have so we can accommodate your needs!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie dressed to the 9s! We would love to have you in your best attire for the wedding ceremony and dinner, despite the environment of the lake being more relaxed. Please do not wear white/cream/champaigne/red, but otherwise bring your best dress with no fear of outdressing the groom and bride! Feel free to take off your jacket, tie, and change your shoes when the party begins! We do not recommend stilettos as we will be on grass. The lake is cold this time of year, but if you're feeling adventurous to change into a swimsuit and take a dip, we won't stop you! On the contrary, we will cheer you on!
