Bride
Mariah is the kind of person who can host dinner, make the house feel welcoming, keep everyone laughing, and still lose her phone three times in the same hour. Between raising the kids, and running a home that permanently smells like candles and whatever’s cooking in the kitchen, she’s become the glue that keeps everything moving. She loves a good glass of wine, a Costco trip she absolutely didn’t need to make, and overcommitting to “quick little projects” that somehow take the entire weekend and never get finished. And while Steve may bring the sarcasm, Mariah is the reason it’s easy. That’s what she said.
Groom
Steve has spent most of his life pretending he knows exactly what he’s doing. And somehow, against all odds, it works out for him. He’s built a reputation for being dependable, sarcastic, and just inappropriate enough to keep life interesting. After years of bad decisions and relentless ball-busting, Steve became the kind of guy people are proud to stand beside. And now, somehow, he’s managed to convince the love of his life to marry him… which may honestly be his greatest accomplishment yet.
Maid of Honor
Kara has been Mariah's ride or die since junior year of high school. They have witnessed every version of each other… bad choices, worse choices (sorry mom), and the infamous Sonic-runs-with-no-pants-choices. No one knows Mariah better or laughs harder with her. Honestly... they're just lucky they survived adolescence. Mariah’s life would be boring without Kara even though she cheats at board games.
Best Man
Rob has known Steve since high school, and somehow their friendship survived high school, college, different relationships, different jobs, and now marriage and parenthood. Ironically, they both ended up working in Manchester—except Steve clearly succeeded professionally while Rob “failed,” since Steve now locks up the same kids Rob spent years trying to educate. Rob says it’s always a pleasant surprise seeing Steve roaming the hallways during the workday, scouting out the future incarcerated youth sitting in his classroom.
Matron of Honor
Terri met Mariah when she interviewed her for a job, but didn’t realize she was actually meeting her soulmate (sorry Steve and Johnny). Their connection was instant, effortless, and has grown insufferably stronger with each passing day. Terri is a certified boss, the friend who always has the right advice, and the world’s greatest party host. Their friendship began with their love for work and blossomed when they discovered their mutual love for wine and 2000’s hip hop (at top volume). Together, they have all the motivation in the world to make diet and workout plans they never intend to follow through with. Nobody can keep up with them, and they don’t care because “a boss like me need a boss like you.”
Groomsman
Johnny says their friendship happened by fate—or more accurately, because their wives decided it was happening whether they liked it or not. What started as two corner-loving couch guys bonding over whiskey, Stafford Diner burgers, and the occasional Irish car bomb contest quickly turned into a genuine friendship. Somewhere between the strong tequila drinks, daily hangout sessions, and their easygoing personalities, Johnny realized the friendship was no longer forced—it was legit. That’s how he ended up proudly standing beside Steve as a groomsman… completely by choice, and definitely not because their wives told them to.
Bridesmaid
Mariah met Jackie at Applebee’s in 2011, and from that very first moment, it was clear Jackie was going to be someone special. Over the years, their friendship has evolved from beer towers and late night parking lot parties to pre-planned mid-afternoon play dates (in between nap times). The truth is though, that the amount of fun they have together has never changed because neither of them need booze to act like fools (but she’ll bring the Surfsides just in case). Jackie’s boundless positivity, unwavering support, and infectious energy make her not just one of Mariah’s closest friends, but someone who has become someone she can count on as a true constant in her life.
Groomsman
Brian is the groom’s brother, and for years he thought his greatest accomplishment was simply surviving childhood alongside Steve. Apparently, today tops that. He’s seen Steve at his best, his worst, and especially during his “I can definitely fix this myself” phase. Somehow, despite all evidence to the contrary, Steve managed to find someone willing to marry him. Brian says everyone is thrilled… and honestly, a little impressed.
Bridesmaid
Mariah and Lauren became fast friends in 2015. What started as a bit of rivalry quickly turned into an unbreakable bond after just one after-work drink. Lauren is the group’s real-life Kardashian: full of attitude, impeccable taste, and a dash of high-maintenance (in the best possible way). If you ever need to get her attention, grab some caviar, a KK, and some drama. She’s the friend who makes every moment glamorous, transforms ordinary plans into great adventures, and is always down for quite literally anything (ask them about their matching tattoos). Mariah has never met anyone like Lauren before and she plans to cherish every crazy moment they have together for the rest of their lives.
Groomsman
Andrew lived there peacefully for a couple of years… and then Steve showed up. Now he has to share all his stuff.
Bridesmaid
Val is technically Mariah’s half-sister, but you’d never know it because their personalities match so naturally that their bond has long since turned the half into whole. Whether they’re out causing trouble or having a sisters’ night in, they share the same sense of humor, energy, and acid reflux. Their daughters are mini reflections of their shared wild-child spirit which only makes their sisterhood even stronger (and more dangerous). Mariah is endlessly grateful to have Val by her side… even though Val beat Mariah in having the first daughter and winning rights to the name Lily.
Groomsman
Artie met Steve when Steve was still a rookie. Back when he didn’t know what a Halligan tool was and somehow managed to make Brian Collins almost throw up. Artie also hasn’t forgiven Steve for costing him his first sailfish in Fort Lauderdale 10 years ago. And during Steve’s bachelor party, things escalated enough that Artie b*tch-slapped a security guard. According to Artie, it’s been a solid track record all around, and he’s glad Steve’s his guy.
Bridesmaid
When Mariah met Kathy, it felt like the final interview. She knew she was special but didn’t know just how special she’d become to her, too. Kathy is successful, disciplined, family-oriented, loyal, and most of all the creator of the infamous KK. She’s like an older sister to Steve, insanely talented at shirt-cutting, and overall someone Mariah deeply admires and is truly grateful to now also call one of her closest friends.
Groomsman
Chris’s wife originally met Steve at a CrossFit gym, which apparently says everything anyone needs to know about how questionable this friendship started. Even though they’ve mentally burned that gym to the ground, their friendship with Steve somehow only got stronger. Steve became a constant in their lives—more like a brother to Chris and a best friend to his wife. At this point, Chris says they’re basically interchangeable, bonded by sarcasm and an unwavering commitment to the fact that Steve is “the daddy” to his son.
