ALMOST TIME TO TIE THE KNOT!

Michael (DeAndre) and I met at the OBGYN clinic I was working at as a Medical Assistant, and Michael (DeAndre) was a Pharmaceutical Drug Rep. We would have lunch ins provided by Michael (DeAndre). We would always have such a good time, laughing and joking about the crazy patients we would see, and Michael (DeAndre) would talk about and inform us about the medications he would bring in for the Dr. I would always notice him staring at me and one day it was just me and him in the break room you can tell he was nervous so he started a conversation with me. Till this day I do not remember how the conversation started but we started talking about sports and he asked me who my favorite teams were. I guess he wasn't expecting me to love sports the way he does because he had such a big smile on his face the entire time we were talking. I can tell then he had a thing for me. My break was over so I got back to work and he started packing up to go to his next office. One of the girls I was working with then came up to me and said Michael (DeAndre) wanted my number. I said If he wanted my number he can come up to me his self. He was very nervous but he did it and before he left he came up to me and asked for my number so we exchanged them. We would talk almost everyday after that for hours and from there on, we been inseparable and now here we are about to get married. I can't wait to marry my Best Friends!

On this day 8 1/2 years ago! Michael (DeAndre) and I went on our first date. He made it the best date I've ever been on. We talked and laughed the entire time there was never a dull moment and i loved that. We celebrated each year after that on the same day at the Melting Pot. Fast-forward to 4 years later just two months before celebrating our love I found out i was pregnant with Lyla. November 13th comes and I had just got home from work. Michael was already dressed and I was told to take a shower and get dressed for a surprise dinner and to dress formal. I had no idea why, I knew what this day meant but I was still so lost. We arrive and get inside to be seated and the table was set up so beautifully. As the night goes on enjoying our company together and great food, our waiter then comes over and ask were we ready for dessert. We said Yes! She starts to clean the table to get it ready for dessert. As she's finishing up she then walks away. A little confused as to why she walked away. By then she walks back but with a champagne bottle and glasses. I politely declined because I was expecting. Her manager then comes around the corner with a plate that wrote out "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" I then look over at Michael in pure shock, and he had his hand out with the most gorgeous ring in the box, I Said "YES!" Michael did such an amazing job and played it out so well. He stole my heart so I’m stealing his last name. With you, I am home. You are my today and all of my tomorrows. I’ve fallen in love with you and I’ll never let you go.
