Joel and Wen met where all great adventures begin: in the wild. After matching on a dating app, they chose a local nature preserve for their first date. By the time they found each other on the trail, the sun was dipping low, and Wen briefly wondered if Joel was a park ranger... or a serial killer. (To be fair, Joel had the same thought.) To ease the tension, they drafted a verbal contract: no murdering each other. The agreement technically required annual renewal... but as the hike turned into road trips, and the road trips turned into plans for a lifetime, the contract quietly expired. Since then, they've wandered through national parks, desert, and mountain trails -- always side by side. For them, love isn't just about shared sunsets, but shared horizons. Now, they are trading trail maps for wedding vows, ready for their greatest adventure yet.
