It's finally happening!

From early on, Brooke and Alex always managed to have the each others attention. Brooke would talk to her friends about ‘the tall kid’ roaming the halls in school, and Alex would get googly eyes and sweaty palms everytime ‘the girl with the birthmark’ would come around. Even with so many years in school together and a great friendship, they never dated until their paths crossed later in life. Despite losing touch in their college years, Alex’s eyes still googly, palms still sweaty - he would comment and confess his love on anything Brooke's brother, Dom, would post of her on social media. Dom, of course, would then read those comments and messages to Brooke for a few laughs. On May 19th, 2017, after, yet another poetic one-liner about how beautiful she was, Brooke caved in. A few text messages and phone calls later, their first date was set! Finally! After all these years, Linger, a trendy resturant, in The Highlands was the move. When Alex was escorted into the Rosa’s house by the famous Steve Rosa, his jaw almost hit the floor when he saw Brooke for the first time - ask Steve, he had a front row seat watching Alex pick his jaw up off the floor. 3 months after their first date, Alex signed a deal to play in Winterthur, Switzerland. When asked if she would come with, Brooke screamed, “YES!” Who else moves across the world together after 3 months?! They knew they were crazy, but for all of the right reasons. After a long season, they returned home for good and continued to build and better their relationship. With new jobs, new apartments, new experiences, the next two years quickly filled up with unforgettable memories and more love for one another than they could have ever imagined. Back to Linger they went. With Alex on one knee, Brooke turned around and screamed, “YES!” ‘The Tall Kid’ & ‘The Girl with the Birthmark’ are going to be Mr. and Mrs. Welsh - finally.
